The central monitoring station received a motion alarm and saw a person walk through the front door. The customer was contacted and requested PD be dispatched, as no one was expected onsite at that time. PD arrived and took the individual into custody. We spoke with the customer, who confirmed the person was not supposed to be there; he said he accidentally remotely armed and disarmed the alarm during the dispatch while viewing the video. The customer also let us know that they believe there is a problem with the lock (we don’t control the locks – he’ll reach out to his locksmith) at the site, so the door was unlocked that night.
The central monitoring station received a door alarm and heard voices and movement from the outside trailer. Santa Clara PD was dispatched and the customer was notified. The customer checked his cameras, and advised he saw people taking items from the back container and leaving.
The central monitoring station received audio of glass breaking, along with video of a person kicking in the glass in the front door. SJPD was immediately dispatched. The subjects are then seen entering through the broken front door, and later exiting through the rear kitchen door. PD reported apprehending both subjects behind the building – so, unfortunately we do not have footage of the apprehension taking place.
Sonitrol received a door alarm from the Rear Entry Double Doors. Sonitrol logged no threatening audio heard. The customer was contacted and requested PD be dispatched. Sunnyvale PD was dispatched and confirmed the door was found open; PD was later heard onsite with a K-9 unit. The customer later confirmed it was a valid break in and two people were arrested inside the building.
Sonitrol received audio activations, hearing loud banging sounds. San Jose PD was dispatched. Onsite security was contacted and advised there was an Asian male breaking windows. San Jose PD later confirmed the individual was apprehended onsite.
Sonitrol received multiple door alarms and heard banging sounds. The customer was called and requested PD be dispatched. Sunnyvale PD was dispatched and later called back to advise they apprehended one person onsite.
Sonitrol received a door alarm from the 4th Floor Exit door, with no human activity heard. The customer was called and requested security be dispatched. Security later called back and advised the guard found a door at the top of the fire escape ajar and 2 juveniles inside the building. The guard detained the juveniles and notified PD. Customer arrived onsite, confirmed nothing was stolen and no signs of damage.
Received door alarms with movement sounds. The customer was called but wasn’t sure if anyone should be onsite, and PD was dispatched. Belmont PD advised they detained a juvenile in the building playing basketball before releasing them to a parent.
Received an audio activation of glass breaking. SJPD was dispatched immediately. Officers responded and reported finding broken glass and one person apprehended.
Received a door alarm (nothing is noted about audio heard – we have requested the associated clips.) RP was called and requested PD dispatch. SJPD officers arrived onsite and detained one individual.
Rapid initially received an audio activation at 1:56am logged as ‘Loud bang followed by movement’ with nothing suspicious on camera. The customer was contacted and said to disregard. Later, at 2:23am, they received further audio of ‘Smashing sounds’ and dispatched Palo Alto PD.
A person can briefly be seen inside the building. PD arrived and apprehended the subject (video can be seen of the individual surrendering to officers.)
Per logs, the customer told operators that PD confirmed the apprehension to him, and he was very happy with how the system worked – and that the intruder was caught.
Received an audio activation of banging and movement, with faint voices. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched. Units arrived on scene and apprehended one suspect in the act of burglarizing the store. A second subject was able to flee the scene – but left a vehicle and phone, both registered to him.
The customer was ecstatic with the response to his alarm, as well as PD’s quick response to his shop. He said that, upon arriving to the shop roughly 40 minutes after receiving the call he saw 12 officers around the building, along with a K9 unit, and the subject being led away in handcuffs.
The customer advised no loss was incurred – all stolen objects (various tools and supplies) were recovered in from the vehicle, along with methamphetamines.
The customer was very grateful for how this all played out, and says he feels very confident in our system and services – saying that every part of this dispatch worked flawlessly.
Received a perimeter violation from the Warehouse Roll Up Door, with some audio of movement and voices. Shortly after, they received audio of a motor revving, then a crashing sound.
SJPD was dispatched. Units arrived and advised someone drove into the delivery doors on the rear of the building. PD later confirmed it was a valid break in with one individual apprehended.
Received an audio activation heard male shouting. Police were dispatched there was no break-in, 2 suspects were in the protected area having an argument and were arrested.

Received a panic alarm. San Jose PD was dispatched. Officers responded and met with an employee who pressed the panic button because an individual was onsite threatening her. Officers detained and escorted the individual off the property.
Received an audio activation of banging, crashing sounds and possible glass breaking. San Jose PD was dispatched; PD would not provide much detail – referring us to their records division – but the customer confirmed a break in and that one individual was apprehended by officers.
Received audio of banging sounds and dispatched San Jose PD. Officers arrived and detained a woman, described as having mental issues, who was hammering holes in the building. They advised the holes were big enough to reach in and potentially open doors and enter – but it did not appear entry was made.
Received perimeter violation; initially just heard tapping sounds, then heard multiple voices, yelling and banging. San Jose PD and a securty company were dispatched. SJPD also deployed a helicopter. PD apprehended 3 juveniles and released them to their parents.
Received a perimeter alarm with voices and movement. EPA PD was dispatched and officers apprehended two individuals. Officers arrived in 4 minutes.
Received a door alarm with video; saw a male onsite use a wire to force the door open. Sunnyvale PD was dispatched and apprehended the subject as he exited the building.
Received a panic alarm and heard a woman cursing and yelling. SSFPD was dispatched and came in contact with a female client threatening staff members. The individual was cited, escorted from the property and served with a no trespassing order.
Received audio of crashing sounds and dispatched SJPD. Officers arrived and began pursuing a suspect. Responsible met with officers and confirmed with our operators that the subject was apprehended; SJPD would not release any information.
Initial audio is a male voice stating, “I’m at the back door” followed by tapping sounds and possible glass break. We dispatched Palo Alto PD and officers arrived at 6:05am, apprehending two suspects. Officers would not release any other information.
Initially heard banging sounds. Note on account states to call RPs before dispatching. Customer requested the dispatch. Officers arrived on site at 4:16am and were able to apprehend someone in the process of stealing tires.
Spoke with customer whom was on site and he started that the lock on the back door was broken and the frame for one of their bays was damaged, but the system disarmed and rearmed just fine.
Followed up with customer and reviewed the incident with him. He stated everything worked as intended. Andrew stated that since they’re in a high-traffic area, he would leave the notes on the account as is. Service is not necessary at this time.
Received a door force alarm from the 220 Lobby Door. Called customer and he was able to check their cameras and it looked like employee was on site. Customer dispatched Mountain View PD. Officers apprehended 2 suspects. After checking video footage from earlier in the day, both people broke into the site earlier in the day (valid dispatch from 10:40am)
Spoke with customer and she was thankful for how we handled both situations. At time of call they had not retrieved the laptop that had been previously stolen. No other damage was reported. Officers did inform customer that the suspects would probably be released later in the day, before being brought to trial. Account placed on crime watch just in case.
Received video of male skateboarding on site. We dispatched San Benito County Sheriff and officers found the male on site. He was sited for trespassing and advised to leave and not return.
Received audio of banging sounds and possible movement. Dispatched San Jose PD and customer met officers on site. Officers were able to apprehend one male on site and customer confirmed that one of the glass entry doors was shattered when they gained entry. No other damage was reported.
Received audio of banging sounds and male voices. Dispatched San Jose PD and customer met officers on site. They were unable to find any damage or signs of break-in, but officers did find someone asleep in their car in the parking lot. Officers took the person into custody for further questioning as the area they were found is not readily accessible to the public.
We received video activations from the West Gate Thermal camera, showing two people on site. We dispatched San Jose PD and customer met officers on site, but the two suspects were gone when officers arrived. Officers did find a third person sitting outside the front gate in a car. The suspect was detained briefly, but officers lacked usable evidence to detain the person further, so they were let go.
San Jose PD did not report any damage being done to the site or anything being stolen.
Received an audio activation of some tapping sounds and faint talking. Dispatched San Jose PD and officers apprehended one person. No damage was done to the site.
Received a perimeter alarm from the electrical room roofhatch. Dispatched Sunnyvale PD and officers found 2 juveniles on the roof smoking marijuana. Juveniles were sited for trespassing and released to their parents.
Spoke with customer and he is impressed by our response time and overall performance.
Received a door alarm form the rear janitors room door. Dispatched South San Francisco PD. Officers apprehended 1 person during an attempted burglary.
Heard tapping sound and possible movement from the front office area. Dispatched San Jose PD. Customer lives on site in a trailer and was able to see a woman trying to break into one of the buildings. Officers were able to detain the woman before any damage could be done. Spoke with customer and he advised that everything is fine on site. Customer did state that the woman wasn’t making a lot of noise and was impressed that we heard enough to dispatch.
Received a door alarm, along with multiple voices. Dispatched Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Dept, who arrived onsite and found 5 adults in the building. Officers detained all five, ran their identification for warrants, and escorted them off the premises.
Received a door alarm, along with banging sounds; later heard voices. SSFPD was dispatched and apprehended 3 subjects.
Received audio of banging sounds; dispatched Sunnyvale PD, who found signs of attempted entry (foot marks on door, where they believe the suspects were attempting to kick the door in.) Officers apprehended two juveniles onsite.
Heard banging sound from the Bar Area. Officers found the two people onsite. Both individuals were cited for trespassing. No damage or signs of break-in reported.
Received banging sounds and glass breaking. PD was dispatched and advised that they apprehended two people on the roof of the building.
Spoke with customer and they confirmed that there are glass windows and then metal bars past the windows. The suspects shattered two windows, but were unable to get past the metal bars. No damage done to any equipment.
Received video of subjects onsite. PD was dispatched, and advised they detained one person onsite.
Received call from a security officer and he requested that we dispatch Menlo Park PD; there was someone on site being belligerent. Menlo Park PD went on site and arrested the person in question.
Received audio of possible movement. Operator viewed cameras for account and saw someone trying to break into one of the buildings. Dispatched San Jose PD immediately. Officers were able to apprehend suspect. San Jose PD did not report any damage done to site.
Spoke with customer and they reviewed the cameras from the dispatch and says they saw two people. Reviewed cameras extensively for 4/10/2020 until time of apprehension at 1:49am on 4/11/2020. Only one suspect ever seen. Account placed on crime watch and let customer know that the account has been placed on crime watch in case someone else does come back.
Received audio of banging/entry sounds. While dispatching, also received door alarms. SJPD arrived and apprehended one male onsite.
Received audio activation of glass breaking and male voices. Video showed a male subject throw a large object through the window and entering – taking numerous items from displays and under the counter, while another stood watch outside. Santa Cruz PD arrived and apprehended at least one confirmed individual.
Heard banging sounds and faint talking. Spoke with customer at the time – he knew there were previously juveniles on site, but he checked the cameras and saw them kicking trash cans and making a mess. Santa Clara County Sheriff found the juveniles on site and escorted them home.
Heard tapping sounds, movement, and voices from the Room C7 or Room C8 areas. San Jose PD arrived and apprehended two juveniles that had broken into building C. One of the windows had to be boarded up. Juveniles were released to their parents.
Customer stated that she has some staff members checking the site today to determine the full extent of damage and if anything is missing. They stated that the entry site may have been previously boarded up due to recent repairs. It was also stated that she’d notify us if she needs service.
Customer took pictures of where entry was made, the two that were apprehended, and what officers removed from the two individuals when they were caught.
Received audio of banging sounds and movement. Sunnyvale PD responded, finding a rollup door forced open, and apprehended one individual onsite.
Received an alarm from the main double doors. Brief talking was heard followed by banging sounds. PD arrived and detained one suspect. Customer has stated that the business interior was heavily vandalized. Nothing specific has been stated.
Received alarm from the door to the quad. PD arrived and found six juveniles onsite whom of which were released to their parents. Officers found the laptop locker broken into, but haven’t been able to confirm if anything is missing.
Received an audio activation (movement, banging, possible glass breaking) along with video of the masked subject loading drinks into a garbage can (matching description of previous break-ins) SJPD arrived and apprehended the subject onsite.
Received a perimeter violation. A security company was dispatched, and found a male subject onsite in the area of the alarm, who was escorted from the premises.
Received audio of crashing sounds and voices. PD arrived onsite with the K9 units, and surrounded the building. They reported the suspects inside had barricaded the doors, so officers entered through a broken window, and apprehended 4.
Officers found the clubhouse glass door shattered and apprehended 1 person. Door has been boarded up. Unsure if anything is missing and stated that service will not be necessary.
