Dating back to the early 1980s, Sonitrol began recognizing officers involved in apprehensions resulting from Sonitrol dispatches. Over time, the program expanded to honor all police personnel who contribute to those efforts—including dispatchers.
These Certificates of Appreciation may seem simple, but they carry real meaning. They’re often added to personnel files and occasionally earn recipients formal recognition from their department leaders. It’s a small gesture, but a powerful one.
