Unfortunately, criminals do not take the holidays off, so don’t let the Grinch ruin your festivities and fun! We’ve outlined some simple solutions below to keep your business secure this holiday season.

User & Call List

As your employees take time off around the holidays, be sure to update changes with our Central Station. Confirm which key personnel on your call list are available in the event of a dispatch.

Staff Turnover

If you are adding seasonal helpers or making changes to your permanent staff, ensure everyone has a unique pin and/or access card. Log on to MySonitrol or make changes with our Central Station.

Manage On-The-Go

Sonitrol provides a number of tools to monitor and view your system remotely. Be sure you have the latest version of the Sonitrol Mobile App so you can remotely arm/disarm your system and view your network-connected cameras. If your system is not connected to the Sonitrol App, consider upgrading your system to the latest technology!

Use Shutdowns Wisely

If you are considering upgrading your system, adding cameras, or need service, use office closures and holiday shutdowns to make changes and minimize disruptions.

Holiday Visitors

Most businesses see an influx of visitors and unfamiliar faces during this time of year, including extra deliveries, contractors, and friends and family. Always check photo IDs and assign visitor access cards or temporary codes to anyone entering to your facility.

Apprehension Update!

In the very early
morning hours last week, operators in our Sonitrol Central Station received audio of breaking glass.

Upon receiving the signal and verifyingthe threatening noise, operators dispatched police to the scene at a local golf course.

When police arrived
to the scene, they immediately apprehended one individual who had broken into the business.
