Sonitrol of Silicon Valley was recently involved with the apprehension of three intruders at a local elementary school. The intruders were caught with iPads, tablets, and computers that were all stolen from a kindergarten classroom. These tools are used in the classroom every single day, we have our state-of-the-art audio detection systems to thank for this apprehension.
It wasn’t until five minutes after the audio sensors alerted our monitoring station that there was a break-in in progress that a door was opened, tripping a door contact. Without the audio sensors, these intruders could have gotten away with thousands of dollars worth of technology.
You will hear the intruders braking glass, walking on glass, playing a piano, and talking. Soon after, you can hear police sirens and police officers with a K-9 unit. Ultimately, all three intruders were apprehended and arrested.
